We all want a great range of motion when we’re running. Muscles respond better to the stress the body puts on them when they’ve been warmed up. So warm up with your dynamic stretches, and keep up your range of motion when your muscles are warm with these stretches!

If you struggle to get these stretches in during the week, please prioritise a long session on your rest day!

There are two ways to access the stretches. You can either join me in the video below, or you can visit Physiotec to view the exercises there.

Accessing Physiotec

Don’t forget to change the week of your program when you access Physiotec.

On the top left side of the page, you will see the word “Program”, and next to it will be an arrow pointing down. Click the arrow to change the session to show you the stretches instead of the strength or foam rolling sessions.



Aim to do this every day

Complete 3 rounds of the following 2 sets of exercises:
Rotating triangle lunge
Iliopsoas focus
Quadriceps focus
Calf stretch on the wall
Hip external rotation stretch
Hamstring stretch
